Each year, Phoenix Chinese Week and Paddle Palace sponsors a Table Tennis Open to compete with one another in shared enjoyment of the sport.

    Sunday, Feb 4th, 2024

    10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • PLACE

    Phoenix Table Tennis Club

    ARCH Gym, located at:

    1550 W Colter St. Phoenix, AZ 85015
    (Directions: Head north from Camelback & 15th Ave. 1⁄4 mile to Colter St. Turn left, about 100 feet at right side)

  • EVENTS

    (Based on current USATT rating* or estimation pre-approved for non-USATT members)

    1. Open Singles (start at 10:00 AM). Limited to 21 Players
    2. U-1800 Singles (start at 10:00 AM). Limited to 21 Players
    3. U-1500 Singles (start at 10:00 AM). Limited to 21 Players
    4. U-3600 Doubles (start at 11:30 AM). Limited to 10 Teams
    5. U-3000 Doubles (start at 11:30 AM). Limited to 10 Teams
    6. U-6500 Groups (start at 1:00 PM). Limited to 10 Groups - see 1,2,3 below:

    1. Any rating, if under/over-rated more than 100, could be re-evaluated to reflect actual level
    2. Any individual rating under 1000 will be counted as 1000 to be accepted for the group event
    3. 1.5 win-game is added for the team (<=6400) while 1.5 is subtracted for the team (6500-6599 CAP)

  • FEES

    $13 per person for every event.

  • FORMATS

    Best of 5 at 11 points. Single elimination applies to all events except Singles in round robin with 1st advanced. You cannot enter two events starting at the same time.

  • EQUIPMENT

    Nittaku 3* Premium white 40+ mm balls by: Paddle Palace

  • AWARDS

    Trophies/Medals engraved with ‘Year of the DRAGON’ is awarded to 1st and 2nd places
